Fundraising/Donating

Our activities in Ethiopia are funded in part by grants from a range of Trusts and Organisations and in part by funds raised from our members and supporters. You can help us raise funds in a number of ways:-

Come to our fundraising events

We host a variety of fundraising events to help raise money for the Link. These include our annual Acoustic Cafe (Topsham), Sponsored Walks, Garden Parties and Ethiopian New Year Celebrations. Talks have covered such topics as Rita Pankhurst, Ethiopian Birds, Ethiopian Spices and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Members are kept up to date on events via email and the newsletter.

Host your own event

Bring together friends and family and help raise money for the link. This might be through:

  • A Dinner party (try cooking Ethiopian food!)
  • A Garden Party
  • Sponsored walk/run/cycle/parachute jump
  • Or pick a particular project and do a range of activities to fund a larger amount
