At present, we are supporting more than 30 primary school librarians, encompassing both males and females, by offering them employment and a modest monthly salary. This initiative is crucial in a region where the unemployment rate hovers around 40%. Each month, our libraries serve as a safe space for studying and provide access to books for 19,000 children across various schools. Additionally, we facilitate the lending of over 3,000 books monthly. Through our 2023 Year of Reading campaign, we are dedicated to expanding our libraries' collections by purchasing additional books for schools.
